Félix Tshisekedi: 'The solidarity campaign does not constitute a disengagement of the government or a transfer of its obligations to the population'

President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi launched a Permanent National Solidarity Campaign to address the growing humanitarian needs in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He emphasized that the decrease in international funding requires a more autonomous and sustainable model based on national solidarity. Tshisekedi also clarified that this call for solidarity should not be interpreted as a disengagement of the state from its responsibilities towards citizens.
