FG announces 14-day closure of Niger Bridge for maintenance

The Federal Ministry of Works announced the closure of some sections of the first Niger Bridge from September 7 to September 21 for maintenance work. Mr. Timothy Emenike, the Acting Federal Controller of Works in Anambra, advised motorists to use the second Niger Bridge during this period. The maintenance will include fixing the vandalized sections of the bridge and will be carried out day and night to ensure speedy completion.
