FG backs Taraba mineral development

The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Oladele Henry Alake, pledged the Federal Government's institutional support for Taraba State's efforts to attract credible investments and transform the state into a major mining hub in Nigeria. At the Taraba State Solid Minerals Investment Roundtable 2026, he advised the state government to focus on developing strategic mineral projects and maintaining transparency in operations. Governor Agbu Kefas also expressed his administration's determination to shift from illicit mining to an organized and environmentally responsible mining framework.
