FG begins payment of outstanding BEA scholarships

The Federal Government has commenced the payment of outstanding allowances owed to Nigerian students studying abroad under the BEA Scholarship Programme. The Federal Ministry of Education announced that the Central Bank of Nigeria had transferred approved funds to Nigerian embassies for immediate disbursement. Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, urged students to monitor their accounts for payments, emphasizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to the welfare of students.
