The Federal Government of Nigeria plans to establish six world-class medical simulation centres across the country's geopolitical zones to enhance practical training for healthcare professionals. Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, noted a significant rise in health program admissions, with nursing enrolment increasing from 38,000 to over 120,000 students. This initiative aims to align modern practical training with the growing medical school admissions, targeting 20,000 by the next three years.
