FG sets Dec 2028 for final analogue TV switch-off

The Nigerian federal government has set December 2028 as the deadline for the final transition from analogue to digital television broadcasting. NBC Director-General Charles Ebuebu announced that this marks the final analogue switch-off. Audience measurement has been completed in 7,000 homes in Lagos, and the freed spectrum is valued at $50 billion.
