FG to spend N350 bn on Enugu–Onitsha highway

The Federal Government announced that the reconstruction of the Enugu–Onitsha highway will cost 350 billion naira. Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, stated that a 72-kilometre stretch will be constructed using reinforced concrete, costing about 150 billion naira. Currently, the first 15 kilometres of this section are nearly completed and will be opened to traffic to ease movement during the Easter celebrations.
