FIFA President: After CAF, Gianni Infantino Gains Support from Another Continent

The African Football Confederation (CAF) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced their support for Gianni Infantino's re-election as FIFA president for the 2027-2031 term. The CAF made this decision during a meeting in Vancouver, while the AFC expressed its ongoing support since Infantino's election in 2016. Although Infantino has not yet officially announced his candidacy, he was re-elected in 2019 and 2023, and his first term is considered incomplete due to the fall of his predecessor, Sepp Blatter.
