FIFPRO World 11: Morocco’s Double Selection Raises Questions

Achraf Hakimi and Ghizlane Chebbak are among the 26 finalists for the 2026 FIFPRO World 11, with the final teams due to be announced on November 9. The Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco defender’s selection is widely seen as deserved, while Chebbak’s nomination raises questions about her 2025-26 season. After a spell at Al-Hilal, she returned to AS FAR in September and played only about 250 minutes at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Morocco, recording no goals or assists as the team finished fourth.
