Fiftieth Anniversary of ICA: 101 Blood Bags Collected During a Citizen Campaign

On the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary, the Abidjan Heart Institute (ICA) held a blood donation campaign on October 7, 2026, in its gardens, in collaboration with the Amicale des Internes et CES en Cardiologie (AMICCAR) and the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS). The event collected 101 blood bags to bolster reserves for healthcare facilities. ICA’s general director, Professor Kramoh Kouadio Euloge, praised the dedication of young doctors and the mobilization of donors, emphasizing that this initiative reflects the institute’s commitment to cardiovascular health and community engagement.
