Fight against child labor: reinforcement of social traceability system

Côte d'Ivoire reinforces its social traceability system to combat child labor in the cocoa-coffee sector. The National Surveillance Committee (CNS) and the Coffee-Cocoa Council deploy Social Traceability Operation Agents (AOTS) in production areas. A two-phase workshop was held from July 12-16, 2026 in Yamoussoukro to validate tools and train agents. Deputy Director Dr. Gbongué Mamadou emphasized the importance of strengthening AOTS capacities.
