Fight Against Illegal Gold Panning: The State Mobilizes Pick-ups, Motorcycles, Drones, Zodiacs for Security Forces

Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Téné Birahima Ouattara presided over a ceremony in Agban to distribute equipment to security forces fighting illegal gold panning. A total of 35 pick-ups, 300 motorcycles, 12 zodiacs, drones, and transport vehicles were handed over to regional prefects to improve mobility, surveillance, and intelligence gathering. This allocation is part of an overall order of 48 pick-ups, 360 motorcycles, 84 zodiacs, 35 drones, and 10 GPS units, with delivery expected soon, to support the government's efforts against illegal gold mining.
