The Faidherbe Research Brigade intercepted 47.76 million FCFA in counterfeit bills during the arrest of four suspects in Toubab Dialaw on August 29, 2026. The suspects, including G.T., B.N., K.S., and A.D., were apprehended following an infiltration operation based on intelligence received on August 19. Blackened supports were seized, totaling nearly 47.76 million FCFA in value, along with two vehicles. They are charged with conspiracy and attempted fraud.
