Finance Committee summoned again this Thursday: What is happening at the Assembly?

Senegal’s National Assembly Finance and Budgetary Control Committee will meet on Thursday, November 5, 2026, in the Marie-Joséphine Diallo room, following a summons by its chair, Alphonse Mané Sambou. At 9 a.m., members will hear from the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning on revenue, public debt, and the budgets of several institutions, including the Presidency, National Assembly, and Court of Auditors. At 5 p.m., alongside other committees, lawmakers will examine the 2027 budget proposal for the Ministry of Microfinance and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
