Funds transferred from Gulf countries to Cameroon reached 11.8 billion FCFA in 2025, according to the National Institute of Statistics. This amount marks a recovery after two years of decline, although it remains below the peak of 13.2 billion FCFA reached in 2022. The United Arab Emirates dominate these flows with 27.9 billion FCFA, accounting for 63.8% of the total accumulated over four years.
