Financial Judicial Pool: Ferdinand Coly at the Heart of a Case Worth a Fortune

Ferdinand Coly filed a complaint with the Financial Judicial Pool against Saliou Samb, accusing him of embezzlement of 1.2 billion FCFA following the collapse of their fishing and export company, 'Blue Trade Company'. After being overturned in cassation in July 2025, he filed a new complaint against the president of the Mbour Departmental Council for alleged fraud. The Supreme Court had previously annulled Saliou Samb's conviction, which was initially two years in prison, due to procedural errors during interrogation.
