Financial Judicial Pool: Reug Reug's Troubles Worsen

Oumar Kane, known as Reug Reug, is in trouble after being arrested with nearly 900 million CFA francs worth of counterfeit bills while sharing the proceeds with accomplices. He is set to appear before the financial judicial pool along with three other suspects for charges including conspiracy, possession of counterfeit currency materials, and attempted bribery. The arrest took place in an apartment in Maristes, where he was handing over a box of fake bills to undercover gendarmes. Senegalese law imposes severe penalties, including up to twenty years in prison, for such offenses.
