The audit committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed that over 16 million dollars in unrecognized expenses were not included in the official accounts. This omission could raise the actual losses to over 25 million dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. Among the expenses, nearly 12 million dollars are related to unallocated technical costs. A separate investigation into CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba is also underway.
