Fire erupts on Mount Kenya shortly after Kilimanjaro went blazing

Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest peak, is experiencing fires mainly from the Meru side. This comes shortly after reports of flames on Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. According to the Mount Kenya Trust, nearly 20,000 hectares of land have been affected, with the fires attributed to human activities and exacerbated by dry and windy weather conditions.
