Fire in Kinshasa: Deputy Aubin Mukanu calls for strengthening firefighting resources

Provincial Deputy Aubin Mukanu urged the authorities in Kinshasa to strengthen firefighting resources following a fire in a party hall that resulted in 14 deaths. In an open letter, he proposed equipping the city with at least 24 operational fire trucks and establishing fire stations in the communes. Mukanu emphasized that promises to enhance intervention capabilities have not been fulfilled, leaving Kinshasa vulnerable.
