Fire in Lingwala: Kinshasa City launches compliance checks for event venues

The provincial government of Kinshasa announced compliance checks for event venues following a fire at the Panacée hall, resulting in 12 deaths and several injuries. A mixed Commission will be established to verify the opening permits and safety conditions of the establishments. Owners are required to present their administrative documents at the City Hall from September 10 to 15.
