The first storey building constructed in the ancient town of Igbo Ukwu in Aguata will soon become an annex of the Igbo Ukwu Museum. Built in 1939 by the late Chief John Ubabukoh, this eight-bedroom building is notable for its unique architecture and wooden materials. His son, Chief Okey Ubabukoh, recalled the challenges faced during its construction, particularly the colonial restrictions on tree cutting in the region.
