First UK charges brought over 1994 Rwanda genocide

A Rwandan man living in north London has been charged with offences related to the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. The Crown Prosecution Service stated that this is the first time charges related to the genocide against the Tutsi have been brought in the UK. Dr Vincent Brown, formerly Dr Vincent Bajinya, 65, has been charged with one offence of conduct ancillary to genocide and six offences of conduct ancillary to murder as a crime against humanity.
