Five Indian air force staff killed as transport plane crashes in Assam

Five Indian air force personnel were killed when the Antonov An-32 transport plane they were traveling in crashed in Assam's Jorhat region in northeastern India. The incident occurred during a routine sortie, the Indian Air Force said. An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway. The last major crash involving this aircraft type was in 2019, with 13 fatalities.
