Five killed, 12 injured in Ebonyi road crash

Five people died and 12 others were injured in a road crash on the Enugu–Abakaliki Federal Highway at Nkalagu, Ebonyi State. FRSC Sector Commander Daniel Asanya said a Toyota Hiace bus carrying 17 passengers crashed due to excessive speed. The injured were taken to Annunciation Hospital, Emene, while the deceased were deposited in a morgue. Asanya urged motorists to exercise caution and called on the road construction company to provide adequate warning signs.

Mobondo phenomenon: displaced women benefit from a bakery on the Batéké Plateau

The government provided a bakery to displaced women from the provinces of Kwilu, Kwango, and Mai-Ndombe following the Mobondo militia crisis.
