Fizi: Calm Restored at Point Zero and Nyaruhinga After Clashes

Calm has been restored in Point Zero and Nyaruhinga in Fizi (South Kivu) after clashes on September 30 between the AFC/M23 coalition, supported by Red Tabara and Twirhaneho, and the FARDC/Wazalendo/FNDB forces. The fighting mainly affected the villages of Nyaruhinga, Point Zero, and surrounding areas, disrupting daily life. Similar clashes had occurred earlier in nearby villages near Minembwe, with attacks in Kanguli, but the FARDC/Wazalendo coalition repelled an offensive by AFC/M23.
