Floods: Heavy rains cause deaths and flooding in Dakar

Heavy rains in Dakar, with a total of 90 mm in Guédiawaye, caused wall collapses and flooding of homes, resulting in injuries and the deaths of a woman and her son in Parcelles Assainies. Multiple other incidents, including wall collapses and damage in various neighborhoods, required rescue interventions. Pumping and drainage operations were carried out, especially in Sam Notaire and Wakhinane-Nimzatt, to mitigate the impact.
