Follow Regulations to Avoid Incessant Building Collapses, Babatunde Urges Industry Stakeholders

Dr Olajide Abiodun Babatunde, special adviser on E-GIS and urban development to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urged building industry stakeholders to comply with laws and regulations. Speaking at a press briefing in honour of the late veteran town planner Chief James Oladosu Babatunde, he blamed repeated building collapses on non-compliance. He lamented the lack of construction-site monitoring and said following existing regulations and laws is the only way to prevent collapses.
