Football: Infantino receives support from Arab federations at FIFA

Gianni Infantino, running for a new term as FIFA president, received support from the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), gathered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The UAFA, comprising 22 national federations, praised his efforts to strengthen cooperation within global football and stated he has unified the international football community. While some federations, like the Swiss Football Federation, withdrew their support, UEFA plans to field a competing candidate.
