Football: Nobel Mendy on the verge of a permanent transfer to Rayo Vallecano

Senegalese defender Nobel Mendy, currently on loan from Real Betis to Rayo Vallecano, is nearing a permanent transfer. An agreement between the two clubs states he must play at least 45 minutes in 25 matches to trigger the automatic purchase, and he has already validated 21 matches. If the transfer goes through, Real Betis will receive around three million euros, plus bonuses and a percentage on a future resale.
