Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) net capital outflow from the Nigerian equities market reached N266.07 billion between 2023 and 2026, marking a 1,073% increase over three years. In 2026, foreign inflows totaled N513.36 billion, while outflows surged to N779.43 billion. Analysts attribute this trend to factors such as profit-taking and caution regarding Nigeria's macroeconomic environment.
