Former 2023 Obi-Datti Campaign Leaders Back Tinubu

Former members of the 2023 Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council have left the Labour Party, joined the APC and endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima for second terms in 2027. The group, calling itself Batified Obidients, announced its decision at a press conference in Abuja. Led by former campaign operations director Adesina Fagbenro-Byron, they cited poor management of talent and diversity and unresolved internal conflicts, saying these shortcomings raised questions about Peter Obi’s readiness to govern Nigeria.
