Former IGP Adamu emerges SDP candidate in Nasarawa

Former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa State for the 2027 general election. He replaces Musa Adamu Angba, who withdrew from the race. Adamu pledged to prioritize basic infrastructure and healthcare services, while also committing to improve the exploitation of the state's mineral resources for the benefit of its residents.
