Former PDP chairman Bamanga Tukur dies at 90

Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and prominent Nigerian businessman, has died at the age of 90. His family confirmed that he passed away on Saturday at his residence in Abuja after a prolonged illness. His burial is set to take place on the same day at the Lamido of Adamawa’s Palace in Yola, Adamawa State. Tukur is survived by 17 children.
