Four men allegedly offered their biological children for money rituals in Niger

Police in Niger State arrested five suspects at an isolated compound in Garima, Bosso, where officers said they interrupted an alleged ritual. Investigators said four men— Ibrahিম Mohammed Hamisu, Abubakar Abdullahi, Aliyu Sule and Mohammed Idris Dogara—offered their biological children as sacrifices to a native doctor in exchange for money. Police recovered blood-stained clothing, calabashes, chickens and a knife; three chickens had already been slaughtered. The suspects reportedly confessed and remain under investigation, while police have not identified the children or said whether they were found or placed in immediate danger.
