Four Suspects Arrested for Vandalising Transformers in Kitui

Four suspects were arrested in Kitui for vandalising three electricity transformers. They were apprehended on September 16, 2026, during a joint operation with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. Officers recovered a drum of copper winding and various tools from their vehicle. The suspects also led the team to a primary school where a 35KVA transformer had been vandalised.
