Franc and Reug Reug to Fight for the Yahya Diop Yékini Flag on February 7, 2027

Franc and Reug Reug will face each other on February 7, 2027, in a bout organized by Jambaar Productions, with the Yahya Diop Yékini Flag at stake. Promoter Mansour Ba has chosen former Arena King Yékini to sponsor the event, and the winner will take the trophy. The matchup is presented as a possible passing of the torch from Yékini to one of the two wrestlers, both viewed as potential heirs to the former champion. They have also made their mark in traditional wrestling in Joal and surrounding areas.
