France Lays Groundwork for Public-Private Alliance on Digital Sovereignty

France is accelerating efforts to reduce reliance on non-European digital technologies and regain control over its digital infrastructure and data. Supported by the Directorate General for Enterprises, this initiative aims to establish a European digital service framework and organize industrial meetings on digital technology in June. Minister David Amiel emphasized the urgency of this transition, stating that the State must desensitize itself from American tools and take back control of its digital destiny.
