France: Out of Jealousy, He Kills His Wife's Lover Then Commits Suicide in Mons-en-Laonnois

On Wednesday, July 8, a 39-year-old man was found dead in Chamouille (Aisne), hit by several gunshots. The husband of the victim's lover, who was in separation proceedings, confessed the murder to his wife and fled. After a large-scale search involving 48 gendarmes, a drone, and two helicopters, his body was found lifeless in a wooded area, with a weapon and a handwritten letter.
