Francis Duru’s Family Announces Funeral Arrangements

The family of Nigerian Nollywood actor Francis Duru announced that his funeral will take place in Abuja and his hometown in Imo State. A service of songs is scheduled for 5 p.m. on November 25, 2026, at Family Worship Centre in Wuye, Abuja. A second service will be held on December 10 at the family compound of the late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, followed by burial and interment there on December 11. Duru, 59, died on October 22 after battling an undisclosed illness.
