Franck Diongo endorses armed struggle and expresses support for Kabila

Franck Diongo, an opposition figure with the « Sauvons la RDC » platform, urged Congolese people to join the armed struggle of Joseph Kabila’s National Resistance Front, while saying he is not a member. During a live audio discussion with Lambert Mende, he said force could decide the outcome if Félix Tshisekedi failed to offer inclusive dialogue under acceptable conditions and with impartial mediation. Diongo invoked Article 64 of the Constitution and accused the government of ignoring governance, legitimacy and security problems, citing the alleged embezzlement of $110 million at SNEL.
