FRC ends multiple financial statement filings, unveils national repository

The Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC) announced the end of multiple submissions of financial statements by companies, following the launch of a national repository for audited financial statements. FRC CEO Rabiu Olowo stated that companies would no longer need to submit separate financial statements to various government agencies. This reform is part of the Council's transformation agenda aimed at enhancing governance and transparency.
