From Australia to Vietnam, the Iran war is fuelling demand for EVs

Since the onset of the war between the US, Israel, and Iran, demand for electric vehicles (EVs) has surged significantly. Rosco Jewell, a seller of used EVs in Australia, noted an increase in sales from one vehicle every two months to one every two weeks. In March, EV sales in China rose by 82.6% month-on-month, while VinFast in Vietnam reported a 127% year-on-year increase in sales.
