FRSC targets unregistered fleet operators as RTSSS enforcement begins on Abia roads

The Abia State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ngozi Ezeoma, announced the commencement of the 2026 Road Transport Safety Standardization Scheme (RTSSS) enforcement week starting July 13, 2026. The operation targets unregistered fleet operators, promotes speed limiter installation, and requires approved passenger manifests. Intensive patrols, mobile court sittings, and random drug and alcohol tests will be conducted. Ezeoma assured that adequate personnel and logistics have been deployed along strategic routes.
