Fuel Prices in Central African Republic: 1,050 CFA Francs for Super and 1,250 for Diesel

The Central African Republic government held a meeting with social partners on September 24 to discuss a potential new increase in fuel prices due to rising global oil prices. Currently, the price is 1,050 CFA for super and 1,250 CFA for diesel per liter, the highest in the CEMAC region. Minister of Labour Annie Michelle Mouanga emphasized that the global crisis affects local prices, and the government is preparing measures to address this. The country relies entirely on fuel imports, and Moscow announced a new fuel donation for 2026.
