Fuels: The cost of diesel imports in Cameroon jumps by 31.5% between July and September

The cost of diesel imports in Cameroon reached 860.10 FCFA per liter in September 2026, an increase of 31.5% compared to July. The consumer price remains fixed at 828 FCFA per liter in Douala. The rise in import costs is mainly due to increases in the average quotation and importer premium, which rose by 24.4% and 70.30 FCFA per liter, respectively.
