Fulani leaders fault reported killing of ‘bandit’ in Plateau

Fulani community leaders in Plateau State disputed reports that Sector 4 troops killed a suspected bandit at Rungan Jallo. They stated that the victim, Alhaji Yusha’u, an elderly man and grandfather of Ismail Zakariya, was mistaken for a bandit and shot while returning home. The incident occurred after military operations following the killing of two female miners and an encounter with suspected militia members, but the community insists Yusha’u was an innocent civilian.
