Fulham ready to hand Bassey new deal

Fulham is working on a deal for Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey, who has one year remaining on his contract. The London club can also trigger a one-year extension, which would extend his stay at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2028. Bassey, who joined Fulham from Ajax in July 2023, won the club's Player of the Season award in 2024/25 and has started all three Premier League games this season under new manager Álvaro Arbeloa.
