Full list: Africa missing from UK’s 2026 universities list for graduate work visa

The UK Home Office published its 2026 Global Universities List for the High Potential Individual (HPI) visa on November 1, covering qualifications awarded from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027. None of the 82 listed institutions is in Africa, including Nigeria; the list includes universities in the United States, Asia, Australia and Europe. Eligible graduates can come to the UK to work or seek work without a job offer or employer sponsorship, but must still meet other immigration requirements, including English-language and financial criteria.
