Future Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Adzopé: 225 billion investment and 51,000 jobs expected

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté, visited the Adzopé SEZ site on June 17, 2026 to check progress on infrastructure. The 432-hectare zone already has an electrical substation with five feeders, three of which are dedicated to future industrial units. The project aims to mobilize 225 billion FCFA in investments and create about 51,000 jobs. It is part of the vision to locally transform agricultural raw materials and capture more added value.
